Coalition for Adequate School Housing Annual Conference (CASH)

February 20-22, 2012  |  Sacramento Convention Center

Bill Grundman, Construction Manager for Riverside and San Bernardino Counties for Erickson-Hall, will be attending the conference and many of the workshops. 

Khary Knowles, LEED AP, Erickson-Hall Project Manager and CASH Leadership Academy 2011 graduate, will join Janet Dixon of Riverside USD on the panel presenting “Part 2 – No More Horseshoes and Hand Grenades”. This is a lighthearted and informative workshop on how to avoid some common landmines and get the job! Other panel members include John Dominguez (SSS), Marco Eckret (HMC), Leigh Cooper, Nina Boyd, and Steve Newsome (LPA).

David Medcalf, Director, Facilities Services and Construction Manager for Erickson-Hall, will be also be in attendance.

Anaheim Outdoor Science Education Foundation Golf Classic (AOSEF)

Erickson-Hall will team up again with Anaheim City School District Superintendent Mr. Jose Banda in sponsoring scholarship dollars for the Anaheim Outdoor Science Education Golf Tournament. This is our second year of involvement and we plan to continue to support this educational outreach effort.

California Association of School Business Officials Annual Conference (CASBO)

Orange Glen High School Creative Arts Buildings Grand Opening

May 1, 2012, 10 AM - 12 PM  |  Orange Glen, California

Demolition of the 40-year-old buildings is complete and construction of four new buildings, totaling 36,820 SF, is underway. When complete, the new Creative Arts Buildings will house classes for gym, dance, drama, band, choir, ceramics, arts and crafts, printing, computer lab, as well as culinary which includes a state-of-the-art culinary commercial kitchen and an instructional culinary classroom. Each building will include brighter classrooms, functional instructional environments, and the latest state-of-the-art technology.

The Grand Opening will have some surprise celebrity guests to make sure the new era of creative-arts-teaching is kicked off with a BANG!

California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators Summer Institute (CALSA)

July 18-20, 2012  |  San Jose, California

Erickson-Hall will sponsor a facility workshop providing CALSA administrators options for funding and facility services. Combining Facility and Energy Services, Powerhouse Alliance provides general fund savings through an integration of energy conservation, generation, and financing options. This workshop will show District’s how to save general fund dollars through effectively and cooperatively managing your District’s facility and energy programs.
